Kristine Breithaupt founded Last Word Strategies in 2016, as a digital-first marketing agency serving businesses and causes across the United States. She has served as staff or consultant to hundreds of political campaigns since 2008. Her experience includes twenty years in a range of public communications roles. ​She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the LSU Manship School of Mass Communications in Journalism. Before going independent, Breithaupt led digital advertising campaigns for TEGNA and Advance Local. In 2024, she was named to the American Association of Political Consultant's 40 Under 40.
