This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies DivorcePlus LLC uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy and forms part of our Terms of Use.

1. Scope
This Cookie Policy applies to the website at https://divorceplus.com(the "Site"), our mobile application (the "App"), and our booking and video conferencing platform at booking.divorceplus.com (the "Platform"), operated by DivorcePlus LLC ("DivorcePlus," "we," "our," or "us").
Terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Privacy Policy. Where information collected through cookies constitutes personal information, our Privacy Policy governs how we handle it, and this Cookie Policy supplements it.
2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
We use "cookies" in this Policy as shorthand for cookies and a handful of related technologies:
Cookies. Small text files a website stores on your device. Session cookies are erased when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them. First-party cookies are set by the site you are visiting and can be read only by that site. Third-party cookies are set by a different party whose content appears on the page.
Local storage. A browser feature that stores data on your device similarly to a cookie but with a larger capacity. We use it to keep you signed in and to preserve draft form entries.
Web beacons. Also called pixel tags or clear GIFs. Tiny invisible images embedded in a page or email that record whether the page was loaded or the email was opened. We use them in email to measure delivery and opens.
Tags and UTM codes. Snippets of code, or text appended to a link, that record how you arrived at a page, for example which newsletter or article referred you.
3. Categories We Use
3.1 Strictly Necessary
These make the service work. They cannot be switched off through our interface, because without them you cannot sign in, book, or attend a session.

3.2 Preference
These remember choices you make so you do not have to set them again: your time zone, display settings, language, and whether you have dismissed a notice. Typical duration is up to 12 months.
3.3 Analytics
These help us understand aggregate usage: which pages are visited, which features are used, where errors occur, and how people move through the coach directory. We use this to fix problems and improve the service. We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles about you, and we do not examine analytics data to identify individual users.
Our primary analytics provider is Google Analytics. Its use of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website you visit using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
3.4 Advertising
DivorcePlus accepts limited advertising under the criteria in Section 24 of our Terms of Use. We do not permit third-party advertisers or ad networks to collect personally identifiable information through the Site or App, and we do not disclose your identity, your booking history, the coach you selected, or your intake responses to any advertiser.
We may run advertising on other platforms that measures whether an advertisement led someone to visit our Site. Where a cookie used for that purpose could constitute "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, you may opt out as described in Section 6 and Section 7.
You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance. Those opt-outs are cookie-based, so clearing your cookies removes them.
3.5 Social Media
Pages may include buttons or embedded content from social platforms. If present, those platforms may set their own cookies and receive information that you loaded the page, whether or not you click. They are controlled by the platform, not by us, and are governed by that platform's own policies.
4. Cookies on the Booking Platform
The Platform at booking.divorceplus.com uses only strictly necessary and preference cookies. Specifically, it uses cookies to authenticate you, keep your session alive during a video call, remember your time zone so appointment times display correctly, and route media traffic.
The Platform does not run advertising cookies, and no advertising or social media third party receives information about your bookings or sessions.
Payment pages are hosted by Stripe, Inc., which sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and payment processing. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's privacy policy. See Section 9 of our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Cookies
Some content and functionality on our Site is served by other companies, which may set their own cookies. We do not control those cookies or how the information collected is used. The categories of third parties we work with are listed in Section 6.2 of our Privacy Policy: payment processing, hosting, video infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, and customer support tooling.
If you have questions about a specific third party's use of cookies, read that company's cookie or privacy policy directly.
6. How to Control Cookies
6.1 On Our Site
Where a cookie banner or preferences panel is displayed, you can accept or reject optional categories there, and you can return to it at any time to change your choices. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be rejected through that panel because the service will not function without them.
6.2 In Your Browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, block third-party cookies specifically, or warn you before a cookie is set:
If you block all cookies, sign-in, booking, and video sessions will not work. If you accept session cookies but reject persistent cookies, you will need to sign in again on every visit.
Browser settings are specific to that browser on that device. Clearing your cookies also clears any opt-out cookies you have set.
6.3 In the App
Mobile operating systems provide their own controls for advertising identifiers and tracking. On iOS, see Settings then Privacy and Security then Tracking. On Android, see Settings then Privacy then Ads.

7. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. GPC is a setting available in some browsers and extensions that transmits an automatic opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information. When we receive it, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for the browser sending it.
GPC applies per browser and per device. Setting it in one browser does not carry to another browser, another device, or the App.
Browser "Do Not Track" signals were never standardized and are interpreted inconsistently across the industry. We do not respond to Do Not Track separately from GPC.
8. A Note on Privacy in Sensitive Circumstances
Cookies and browser history can reveal to anyone with access to your device that you visited DivorcePlus, and may reveal which coaches you viewed. If a spouse, family member, or employer can unlock your device or access your browser profile, that is a real risk, and no setting on our end can eliminate it.
If this is a concern:
- Use a private or incognito window, which discards cookies and history when you close it;
- Use a device and account that only you control;
- Clear your browsing history after each visit; and
- Consider which email address and phone number you give us, since booking confirmations and reminders go there. See Section 13 of our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our technology and vendors change. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Last Modified" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes are also addressed under Section 20 of our Privacy Policy.
