About Me

I was executive director of two highly effective Alaskan environmental organizations, and I have led many advocacy and political campaigns. From my in-the-trenches experience as a leader, I saw that able leaders master their circumstances; inept leaders whine about them. Intent on becoming a more effective leader, I left Alaska for New York City to dig into leadership training—first as a participant and later as a coach. I graduated from Accomplishment Coaching, the country’s premier coach training school, and began coaching professionally in 2012. I focus on developing personal mastery in my clients. Those who have mastered themselves radiate calm, compassion, and power; say what needs to be said, lift others up, and stay centered regardless of the chaos raging around them.
