About Me
Monique Drake brings a rare combination to divorce coaching: decades inside the legal system and formal training in strategic life coaching. A graduate of Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, Monique is licensed to practice in Louisiana and has spent her career at the heart of the state's legal community—including clerkships for a District Court Judge and a Louisiana Supreme Court Justice, and leadership with the Louisiana Supreme Court Committee on Bar Admissions.
Monique understands how the divorce process actually works from the inside—the pace of courts, the pressure of litigation, and the toll it takes on the people moving through it. But she also knows that divorce is far more than a legal event. That's why she completed the Robbins-Madanes Training (RMT), founded by Tony Robbins and Cloe Madanes, to become a Certified Strategic Intervention Life Coach, and became a qualified mediator. As a coach, Monique works with clients navigating divorce and major life transitions, helping them move past fear and uncertainty toward their best, most authentic selves.
Her approach blends practical, strategic problem-solving with genuine warmth—meeting clients where they are and helping them see what's possible on the other side. Beyond her practice, Monique is deeply committed to service. She is a longtime AARP volunteer and member of its Louisiana Executive Council, where she supports adults 50+ navigating career and life transitions, and she is active with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She served on the National Conference of Bar Examiners' Character and Fitness Committee from 2008 to 2018.
